Adblock in Konqueror

Posted in Linux, Open Source by Rahul on September 26, 2009

Want to use konqueror for browsing the net in KDE4 but don’t want to view annoying ads?
The problem is now easy to solve.

Konqueror -> Settings -> Configure Konqueror -> Adblock Filters -> Enable Filters and Import ->
navigate to $HOME/.mozilla/firefox/whatever.default/adblockplus/patterns.ini
click open -> apply

That’s it 🙂

Thanks to Mike Hunt from Gentoo Forums.

    I was wondering if you evwr thought of changing the page layout of your blog?
    Its very well written; I loge what youve got to say.
    But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people
    could connect with it better. Youve got aan awful lot
    of text for only having 1or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
